A Super Bowl commercial has been getting a lot of attention among Christians. Do you know which one? “He Gets Us.” Did you see it? While it’s certainly true that God “gets” all of us, we need something more. We need God to save us from our sins! He has. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him” (John 3:16-17). Jesus doesn’t just get us. Jesus saves us!
