are lots of different ways to measure wisdom: IQ, college degrees, work experience, business success… Who is wise? Here’s what the Bible says: “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 9:10). Want to be wise? It’s not about your education level or your work skills or your IQ. True wisdom is trusting in Jesus. Like the wise men long ago, learn to drop everything and seek Jesus where he is to be found. In his Word. In the Sacraments. Then you will be wise.
