Listen "Navigating Career Transition with Greg Camarillo, NFL Alumnus"
Episode Synopsis
On episode 48 of the #MentalDivePodcast, I am pumped to be joined by Greg Camarillo (5:12). Greg is an NFL alumnus who played from 2006-12 with the San Diego Chargers, New Orleans Saints, Minnesota Vikings and Miami Dolphins, totalling 80 games, 146 receptions and 1730 yards. The wide-receiver can now be found on NBC San Diego as an analyst.
During the podcast, Greg and myself dove into his thoughts and perspectives on why many athletes struggle with career transition. As well, we also discuss how he has tried to find excitement post NFL career, why he thinks the cultural "fight through it" mentality in the NFL doesn't apply to real life, how he helps athletes develop more well-rounded identities, and so much more!
