Listen "Healthy Body Era (Ep.03)"
Episode Synopsis
Today, we’re exploring the concept of health as a lifelong journey, not just a New Year’s resolution. My husband humorously notes that sometimes our “healthy body era” can turn into a “healthy body error,” so patience and persistence are key.
We’ll discuss societal views on health and how being healthy means striving to be the best version of yourself, free from disease and fully enjoying life. I’ll share my reflections on longevity and nutrition, inspired by Chris Hemsworth’s documentary "Limitless." Additionally, I’ll recount my journey from not knowing what it meant to feel healthy to actively working on my wellness. To conclude, I’ll offer practical steps for achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including setting personal goals and making gradual changes.
Practical Steps:
Write down or talk with someone about how you want to look/feel based on personal comfort, not social media.
Establish long-term goals for once you are in your best shape.
Create a step-by-step plan to start your journey.
Make small changes, like working out 3 times a week for 30 minutes, and increase gradually.
Be mindful of what you eat; focus on whole foods and avoid food that negatively affects your health.
Ensure you sleep 8-9 hours every night; maintain a consistent sleep schedule.
Don’t blindly follow dietary trends; find what works best for your body.
