Listen "54: Blank Canvas with Craig Stanland"
Episode Synopsis
After hitting rock bottom, Craig Stanland was forced to make a choice: Give up or rebuild. He thought he had “it all” until he lost sight of what’s truly important and made the worst decision of his life, losing everything along the way, including his own self-worth. Through the painful, terrifying process of starting over, Craig ultimately discovered that when you have nothing, anything is possible. Today, Craig is an author, speaker, and Reinvention Architect. He specializes in working with people whose lives have fallen apart, helping them reinvent themselves by showing them how to rebuild their self-worth and create the extraordinary lives they've always wanted I loved my interview with Craig as he was so honest and authentic with me about how his journey of losing everything actually was a gateway into discovering himself Some key points from our interview:· How one of his favourite books he read whilst he was in prison was “Unbroken” by Laura Hillenbrand· How prison taught him that no matter who you are or how bad things look that you can rebuild your life· How he believes that our greatest adversities do not have to be the end and actually can be our greatest beginning.· How he’s passionate about helping his clients create a life of purpose, passion and meaning through coaching You can get more info about Craig here:Website:- Show www.craigstanland.comTEDx: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PrkG9VQzqIoBlank Canvas https://www.amazon.co.uk/Blank-Canvas-Reinvented-after-Prison/dp/1544519478 * * * *"Unbroken: Healing Through Storytelling" features individuals who have all triumphed after adversity and have not just bounced back in life, but forward and are now making a difference for others.Hosted by Madeleine Black, the show will share stories of all the amazing people Madeleine has met on her own journey as an author/speaker and these stories will heal, motivate, inspire and bring hope when they share their wisdom and knowledge with her.She really believes in the power that comes when we share our stories, that in fact we are not story tellers but story healers.
