Listen "Is a 0 COVID Case Model still a solution for countries?"
Episode Synopsis
With an extremely high transmissibility rate of the Delta variant, having a zero-COVID target seems to be a really unrealistic situation. Even countries such as Singapore with 80% double vaccination rate are reimposing restrictions back after recording the maximum daily cases since August 2020. The countries need to unite together to encourage people to get vaccinated soon before more variants of this virus get identified such as “Mu” in America. The health experts as well as the national leaders should also try to find a solution for vaccinating children below 16 years of age so that they can feel safe in sending their children to schools in the coming times. UK's chief medical officers have approved the first dose of Pfizer for kids aged 12-15.
