Claire Fuller is the author of four novels: her latest, Unsettled Ground, winner of the Costa Novel Award 2021, and shortlisted for the Women's Prize for Fiction; Our Endless Numbered Days, which won the 2015 Desmond Elliott prize; Swimming Lessons, shortlisted for the Encore Prize; and Bitter Orange longlisted for the International Dublin Literary Award. She was a sculptor and director of a marketing agency, before writing fiction at the age of 40. She has a Masters (distinction) in Creative and Critical Writing from The University of Winchester.
