Last week I talked about burnout. The feeling as though life is passing you by too quickly and you can't keep up! If you feel tried and exhausted, you may be experiencing burnout. This week I share with you how resting actually helped me beat some personal records in weight lifting and helped me to feel strong while riding 60 miles on a road bike. I took some time off, slept more, listened to when my body needed to stretch or go for a walk instead, and drank lots of water. I still would lift weights and go to the gym, but not as often or as frequent as I used to. There is such a thing as over exercising and I think I may have experienced that. I was shocked at my results when I took this necessary time to rest. Listen to this episode to hear what happened.
