Known for his work designing championship belts in wrestling as well as boxing and MMA, the so-called "Quiet Superman" earned renown for the "Winged Eagle" belt he created for the WWF (now WWE). In 2021, the year he died, he was inducted into the Nebraska Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame.
