High up in the Cabinet Mountains, the loop hike around Upper Cedar Lake is a great multi-day adventure. Be sure to take your time, because this 22-mile trek is worth savoring. Along the way, you’ll get to enjoy stunning views of alpine lakes, gaze at jagged peaks, and soak in the solitude of the Cabinet Mountains Wilderness. Upper Cedar Lake is home to several scenic campsites, making it the perfect place to spend a night, or even two, if you want to scramble up the rocky slopes of Dome and Parmenter Mountains.
