Matt Ellis is a writer/academic/musician from Portland, Oregon. He has a PhD in Modern Culture and Media from Brown University and studies media, culture, and history from the left.He is teaching a class on Weimar Cinema: Images Before Fascism on CineJourneys from November 11th to December 9th. It’s 100 bucks for 4 weeks, on Zoom, with access to the films and readings for the class.
