Episode Synopsis
In January of 2022, I finally committed to a regular meditation practice and since then my entire life and self has strengthened. I have never felt so clear, connected and mentally healthy. Ever. But it took me many years to warm up to even trying it. I always thought that I was someone who just couldn't meditate; like some people were born with the ability to meditate and others not. Because of the impact it's had on my life, I've spent a lot of time thinking about how I can talk about it with others in a realistic and approachable way. I believe that all living things can benefit from meditation, and would even go so far to argue that meditation is an instinctual practice that the human race has lost, but it can be difficult to know where or how to start. Here, we discuss the many types of meditation and how you can begin doing it.
