This episode takes base in the so called “Dote scandal”, where a series of influencers (Kianna Naomi, Danielle Perkins & Vereena) feels left out based on the colour of their skin. We will research if there is a truth to their stories and if there is a pattern of behavior when it comes to brand deals (and the treatment on trips) based on the color of your skin.
Dote is a shopping app, that uses influencers to brand themselves, by inviting them on fancy press trips to places like Fiji and festivals like Coachella, where they will take a series of pictures with the influencers using the products and post it on instagram, which the influencers will as well.
