Today, Haliburton County has a strong theatrical culture with at least 3 community theatre groups and an annual advanced opera studio. This week, Kate talks about the roots of that tradition that go back 120 years or more. Plus, Paul talks about Elsie MacGill who was born in Vancouver in 1905 and went on to become the aeronautical engineer who oversaw the production of Hawker Hurrican fighter planes for the Battle of Britain - earning her international recognition and the nickname 'The Queen of the Hurricanes'.
