Episode Synopsis
Creatives' Co-Bill ft. Anh Thai and Leah Wrenne - May '24
In this episode, Scott is joined by Jarrett, Leah Wrenne, and Anh Thai to talk about the Creatives’ Concert Co-Bill event that featured the two guest artists and Emma Nissen. The event was hosted at The Story Factory PHL on Tuesday, May 14th, 2024.
The episode begins with telling the backstory of the success of previous Concerts, reaching out to Emma Nissen, and why the team chose to do three artists instead of the usual two. The conversation continues by sharing the story of how a friend’s generosity opened the door for the event to even happen.
In the middle of the episode, Jarrett shares about the promotional campaign that predated the show itself and some of the advances we made on the production side.
Towards the second half of the episode, we talk mostly about the day of the event, focusing heavily on each of the artists’ sets. As we wrap up the episode, the crew chats about how the event impacted Leah and Anh and encouraged them in their individual journeys as singer-songwriters. We hope you enjoy this episode!
