Springfield Methodist Protestant Church will host Trunk of Treat Oct. 31 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Church members wanting to participate distributing candy are asked to pre-register. This event is sponsored by the SMPC youth group. Midway Baptist Church will host Founders Day 1885 Sunday, Nov. 2. Singing and worship will be at 10:30 a.m. followed by dinner at 11:30, outside if the weather permits. Feel free to dress like it is 1885. The church is located at 1939 Midway Road in Thomasville.
