(part 1) What is the truth? Are my preconceptions blocking my ability to understand biblical truth? Am I willing to look at branching or opposing views to test my conception and understanding of truth? I use the concept of "the siren song of certainty" to bring to light our tendency to resist any differing views. I challenge that idea,and instead postulate that we should test and prove our understanding of truth by testing differing views against what we know. And being willing to be corrected. Rather than being willingly wrong just because it's what we "know". I use evolution vs creation and relativity vs electric universe as examples.
