Listen "PREVENTING BURN OUT IN COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH | Therapists Unmasked | ep. 29"

Episode Synopsis

Welcome to the Therapists Unmasked, where we discuss the mental health struggles that therapists face behind closed doors. As professionals we are taught to put our emotions aside to help our clients with their own emotional battles. Not only is our goal to help normalize therapists mental health, but to also help other people get their stories across. In doing so, we will use our counseling knowledge to have therapeutic conversations with our guests in which they talk about their fears, traumas, and other heavy mental health topics. Meet Dr. Ethan Levine, a psychologist and co-founder of Eventus WholeHealth who discusses the importance of implementing mental health practices in mental health work settings to improve the efficiency of mental health therapists. He gives advice to leaders out there that may be listening on how to enforce these practices and he also discusses how he implements these practices at Eventus Wholehealth. So, grab a drink or snack and join us on our journey where we unmask the hardships that people just like you face, whether you are a mental health therapist or a listener, and learn how to cope with these issues.
