Listen "Sermon: Faith Through Fellowship"
Episode Synopsis
Did you know that communal gatherings are about more than just good food, church friends, and sharing the latest local scuttlebutt? In actuality, communal gathers are an integral part of being a part of the body of believers. There are some who want to claim "I can be Christian without being a part of a church", but can you really? What we see in the early church are people who gathered together regularly for reasons other than ritual. The learned together, they worshipped together, and they ate together. Not everything had to be a 'sanctioned church function'. By growing closer to one another, we grow closer to God through our common faith and common purpose. What else does gathering together teach us about our savior?
