Listen "Romans 8:18-28"
Episode Synopsis
Send us a textPaul makes it clear that when we are living in the victory of Christ, persecution, tribulation and suffering will come to us at unexpected times, in unexpected ways and from those we so often expect the least. Living in the victory of Christ does not always appear to be a life of victory. In light of this, Paul first wants us to know that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared to the glory that will be revealed in every true follower of Jesus Christ. We have an eternal, unspeakable, unimaginable inheritance with Christ in glory. Regardless of the temporary suffering we will endure, none of it can even begin to compare to the eternal glory that awaits us.Paul goes on to say that "we know", meaning that we as followers of Christ should possess this knowledge, that all things are working together for our eternal good. Every second of suffering we endure, is all allowed within the sovereignty of God for our eternal good. As a follower of Christ, nothing happens in our life outside the knowledge and sovereignty of God. And all that happens has been allowed for out eternal good.Knowing this should impact every follower of Jesus in the way that we live for Him. All of us should be living in the victory of Christ to the glory of God.Contact Paul at [email protected] Sunday May 5th, we have changed locations and will meet on Sundays at 10 am.
