He once again confirms to Abraham His wonderful covenant. After this, Sarah dies. Abraham purchases a piece of land that he may bury Sarah in the land that God has promised to him. Although Abraham owns none of the land at this point, he knows that it is his because God has promised it to him. To purchase land and bury Sarah in the land was a great step of faith.Abraham was a man who walked by faith. So to must you and I. We must walk by faith and not by sight. Our gaze must always be on heaven.
