About Karen Neeley 
Vice President, Head of Institutional Retirement Solutions Group 
Karen has served in the financial services industry for nearly two decades, with extensive experience in retirement, across the DB and DC sectors. She has held leadership positions at several Fortune 500 companies. Karen is responsible for go-to-market strategy, product development, distribution, customer and partner engagement, and operations for Pension Risk Transfer and Defined Contribution Lifetime Income business lines. Karen joined Pacific Life in 2023. 
 
 
About Erich Sternberg 
SVP Workforce Benefits 
After earning his MBA from Columbia Business School, Erich Sternberg worked for Estee Lauder, in New York City and later in Sydney, Australia. Upon returning to the United States, he joined Starmount Life Insurance Co. in Louisiana, later becoming CEO of the family startup. During his tenure, Starmount experienced 18 years of consistent and profitable double-digit growth. Starmount was later acquired by the Unum Group. Before joining Pacific Life, Erich served as EVP and president of the Life and Health Division of Kemper Corporation, where he was responsible for Kemper’s Life and Health strategy and execution. Erich joined Pacific Life in 2022.
