The inscription was found on an ancient pottery shard at Tel Lachish, an archaeological site in south central Israel. Experts believe it may provide a missing link to the ancient alphabet in the region. Erick takes viewers on the ground to Tel Lachish to see how it became an important city in the Judean Kingdom before being destroyed by the Assyrian Empire.
