Isn't is odd how we feel when a piece of art we've come to love in one medium, gets our backs up when it's been adapted to another?
Books to movies, small screen to big, games to movies, even Tv shows back to graphic novels, we all have our favourite way of consuming a piece of art, or a story. 
Adaptations seem to bring out the best or the worst in us when a fanbase loves the original, yet occasionally the adaptation is the better of the choice of mediums.
