In this week's episode of the OC Endurance podcast, our guest is Raul Cardenas, a skilled bike mechanic and accomplished endurance athlete. Raul embarked on his endurance sports journey in 2011, where he kicked off with the Surf City Marathon. In 2013, he attended the United Bicycle Institute (UBI) in Ashland, Oregon. After completing his training, he joined Tri-Zone, working until the shop's closure in 2022.
Raul has completed four full Ironman events and 14 70.3 Ironmans. He is preparing for his second Ironman World Championship in Nice and has participated in one 70.3 World Championship. Beyond triathlons, Raul is also an avid Gravel and Mountain Biker. Tune in to learn all kinds of great information about maintaining your bike.
