Listen "Thoughts From A Former Member"
Episode Synopsis
If you've ever wondered what former members think after they stop participating in a lodge, this episode is for you. The Three Links Odd Casters are joined by Seattle musician, educator, and recording artist Scott Adams (no, not the Dilbert guy) to talk about his experiences in Odd Fellowship and why he left the Order. Scott pulls no punches in his assessment of his time as a member and what caused him to drift away and leave the lodge. He also hints at what might get him engaged in Odd Fellowship again in the future. Scott was also gracious enough to share one of the songs from his new album with us. For those who enjoyed the song and would like to check out more, his music is available at https://birdsmaybite.bandcamp.com/album/you-2. The lodge shout-out has returned for this episode and it goes to Rockbridge Lodge #58 in Virginia for their great publicity work for the Order. For the Odd Podge, Christopher shares his joy of experiencing fresh Puyallup Valley strawberries for the first time, Toby shares his appreciation of our Sovereign Grand Warden, Scott talks about the recently rediscovered letters his father wrote for him in his childhood, and Ainslie shares his excitement over getting his lodge meeting again post-Covid.
