Todays show brings you part two of Peter Mabbutt’s conversation with hypnotherapy and childbirth expert, Sonia Richards. Sonia gives an overview of the approach she uses with childbirth before we explore the mother-baby link, focussing on the effects of maternal stress on the baby. We also discuss how naturalised language patterns regarding birth can be detrimental to the mother’s experience before exploring the reality behind the concept of pain free childbirth.
