You know the schtick. You're trying to have a healthy conversation with someone and not far into it, they go haywire.  
They might get destructively defensive, start yelling, name call and/or my (not so) favorite, turn the blame on you.
Nothing you've tried is working. You just can't break through. 
All you want is resolution and instead you get the same ol' argument that's an endless circle.
