Sermon Discussion Questions 
1. In 1st Kings 11:9-13 and Amos 7:14-16, we see both Solomon and the people of Israel reject correction from the Lord. In the absence of the biblical prophets, how do we hear and receive correction from God? What obstacles in your life keep you from recognizing your sin and turning from it? 
2. A reoccurring theme in our text is that those who turn their hearts away from the Lord often become oppressors of the weak or complacent to the marginalized. But the Lord is roaring from Zion as He tries to bring our attention to how our broken worship colors our sense of justice. How can we as a small group worship together through pursuing justice (Micah 6:8)?
