After taking my annual leave of absence to process life, I am back with another year of The Simply Jamilah Podcast! I take a moment to remember my grandfather, who left the earth late last year. It's still processing. Grief is unique, to say the least. Then I share everything I seem to be bringing from 2022 into the new year, including working paycheck to paycheck, loneliness, and being late to a lot of things. I also expose the weird way I all of a sudden started saying "plastic."
