Of course, Jesus has always been God. He never stopped being God even when He became a man. However, during His earthly ministry He depended fully upon the Holy Spirit. He said in John 5:19 that He did what He saw the Father do. Beyond that, He always found time to get away from the crowds to be alone with His Father.
