This week on the podcast we are discussing heavenly mindedness. "Don't be so heavenly minded that you're no earthly good" is a phrase that I have heard for years, and it is extremely unbiblical! Colossians 3:2 says, "Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth..." Our task as sons and daughters of God is to become MORE heavenly-minded... not less. This world is not in need of earthly-minded people, but Kingdom-minded people. When we set our minds on "things above" we position ourselves to understand the heart of the Father and draw from supernatural resource and supply. Heavenly-mindedness is NOT synonymous with being out of touch with reality or disconnected from the needs of the people. In fact, it is the opposite. The more you focus on God and heaven's agenda the more you become in tune with His heart and compassion for people.
