Listen "Nature, Nanotech, & Us"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode, I review an article that discusses the recent creation of a machine-plant hybrid and the implications it has for our society. Do we have a right to manipulate nature in such a fashion? What impact does this have on the plant and on humans?
While exploring possible consequences, I discuss Morgellons Syndrome, which some believe is a form of nanotechnology that causes small, unidentifiable fibers to burst through the infected person's skin. What is the cause of this bizarre syndrome?
Lastly, I examine nature and our understanding of it. We live in a world dependent on the consumption of life to sustain life. What does that say about us? What does that say about our creator? If there is no creator and this is simply how we evolved, can we change?
