Shay Carroll, a two-time NFR heeler, originally from La Junta, Colorado, is an interesting guy. He's an all-around hand who's shown up in a short-brimmed custom hat to bulldog at places like the Cinch Timed Event Championships, and he's a switch-ender who took a few years off of heeling to spin some steers. Now, he's a horseman, who shows quarter horses for the elite breeders at DT Horses.
