The former high school coach talks about his favorite moments from the recent Drake Relays, preparing for meets, his path to announcing, his favorite meet, his unwavering support of athletes and the surprise growth of his Track Guy Foundation that delivers shoes to youths and funds scholarships for high school seniors. Mike also plays the association game, describing Iowa track and field athletes Shelby Houlihan, Erik Sowinski, Karissa Schweizer, Alexis Wilson, Thomas Pollard, Lisa Uhl and Jenny Simpson in three words or less.
