Kea attributes a major influence in getting into the field of STEM to her mom who was a Life Science teacher. A PhD student in genetics, her research focus is on gene expression profiling for growth and carcass genetics of goats. She tells us more about this work, specifically how she ended up working on goats which is her unique selling point. Further, we discuss her journey into opening her own company called Kea Ncube Agri Services where this is a business where she offers scientific solutions to agricultural problems.
