Emmie completed her undergrad in Zimbabwe came to South Africa to further her studies for her Masters and now PhD. Her research focuses on the synergy between experimental and computational chemistry in understanding the structure and redox reactivity of transition metal complexes. As an award-winning science communication speaker, she eloquently tells us more about this work and its importance. In fact, she tells us more about how she was bestowed with this prestigious title and her love for science engagement initiatives.
