The film is a sports drama starring Brad Pitt as a driver who returns to Formula One racing after a career cut short by injury. It was directed by Joseph Kosinski with a screenplay written by Ehren Kruger. It is based on the Formula One World Championship, created in collaboration with the FIA, its governing body.
