In this episode, we have a special guest all the way from Australia - Julie Scali. Julie has a background in primary education as well as special needs education. She spent time consulting in schools on learning difficulties. Most recently, she's served the last eight years as the deputy principal leading whole school change in literacy improvement. She runs her own business, Literacy Impact. She is passionate about linking evidence-based practice with what makes the greatest impact in the classroom students' literacy as well as making a link between the school and the home.
Tune in for simple tips that will help you to build a strong base in oral language skills and oral language comprehension at home! These skills will transfer over into reading comprehension and reading language skills.
