David W. Berner is the author of several books of memoir and fiction. His work has been honored by the Society of Midland Authors, the Chicago Writers Association, and the Eric Hoffer Book Awards. David has been the writer-in-residence at the Jack Kerouac Project in Orlando, Florida and at the Ernest Hemingway Foundation of Oak Park, Illinois. He lives outside Chicago with his wife and dog.
