Michael McPherson grew up in a typical midwestern American household: church on Sundays and sports as soon as he was old enough to walk. As a child, Michael was sensitive to the energies around him. Because his family was so emotionally and sexually repressed, he grew up thinking that there was something wrong with him that made him different from the rest of his family. In his young life, when it came to sex, Michael was both paralyzed with fear yet desperate to learn more.
