Ever wondered where the 40 hour work week came from? Why do most employers consider this "full time"? Well, I've been curious for awhile for now. After diving into it, I'm still not 100% sure, but it seems like it's a compromise from corporate America dating back to the early 1900's. Either way, I'm not buying it, and you shouldn't either.
