Listen "U.S. troops, out at last?"
Episode Synopsis
Iraq announces it wants U.S.-led coalition troops out of the country. This comes after U.S. military drones killed a leader of a paramilitary group affiliated with the Iraqi government. Since the Palestine-Israel conflict broke out last October, the U.S. claimed its forces in Iraq and neighboring Syria have come under more than 100 attacks by Iran-backed militants, and the latest drone strike was in response to a mortar attack against its embassy compound in Baghdad. Will the escalations lead to the end of U.S. military presence in the country? How may that affect the situation in the region?
