Listen "Operation International: A Conversation with Chasidy Szerokman"
Episode Synopsis
As Americans we tend to take our access to healthcare for granted. If we get hurt we call 9-1-1. If we become ill we rush to the emergency room, or make an appointment with our doctor, but there are millions of people around the world without this on demand access to medical care. Instead, they rely on organizations like Operation International who's mission is to provide medical care to these less fortunate world cititzens. My friend Chasidy Szerokman recently returned from her own trip with Operation International, and in this podcast she shares with us her experience from the very beginning to the end of her trip. If you're interested in learning more about Operation International, you can visit their website at www.operationinternational.org. Chasidy as also offered to field any questions you might have if you're interested in going on your own trip with the organization. You can reach her via email at [email protected]
