Listen "The Park Presents: Reese Fulmer & The Carriage House Band ft. Reese Fulmer"
Episode Synopsis
Welcome to The Park Presents Podcast. The Park Theater is a premier entertainment venue in downtown Glens Falls, New York. Throughout the year, we present a variety of events including our highly-anticipated season that runs from September to May showcasing local and internationally touring artists - in addition to community and education outreach initiatives and so much more.
Hosted by Chris Ristau (Executive Director, The Park Theater Foundation), we are starting the second season of The Park Presents podcast by highlighting our third annual free Summer Series Concerts at the Crandall Park Bandshell in Glens Falls! The Summer Series Concerts take place each Friday evening (7-8:30pm) from June 30-July 28th 2023.
Each week, we will introduce you to the artists behind each show - their musical journey and inspiration. We will hear stories about them and learn about the music they will be performing!
We look forward to seeing you at our summer concerts! Be sure to bring your favorite lawn chair - or a blanket - and some friends and “Say Hello!”

This week we are chatting with award winning americana artist and Caffè Lena TV Program Manager, Reese Fulmer, of Reese Fulmer & The Carriage House Band! If you ask Reese about himself, he'll tell you he's a brand new soul. But his songs tell a different story, with a clear eye and poetic touch, of a conduit to something much older and deeper. With a fluid lineup of versatile and talented players in his Carriage House Band, Reese’s music is reminiscent of the early work of Josh Ritter or Iron & Wine. Together, they were recognized as the 2023 Americana Artist of the Year at the Capital Region Thomas Edison Music Awards. In this episode, we chat about the development of The Carriage House Band, his work in the arts community, a bit about the art of songwriting and more!
Reese Fulmer & The Carriage House Band will be performing in the fourth Summer Series Concert at the Crandall Park Bandshell on Friday, July 14th, 2023.
