Listen "The Park Presents: Dr. Funke’s 100% Natural Good Time Family Band - A Superjam Evening ft. Mateo Vosganian"
Episode Synopsis
Welcome to The Park Presents Podcast. The Park Theater is a premier entertainment venue in downtown Glens Falls, New York. Throughout the year, we present a variety of events including our highly-anticipated season that runs from September to May showcasing local and internationally touring artists - in addition to community and education outreach initiatives and so much more.
Welcome to the second season of The Park Presents podcast! Hosted by Chris Ristau (Executive Director, The Park Theater Foundation), we will begin this season by highlighting our third annual free Summer Series Concerts at the Crandall Park Bandshell in Glens Falls! Each week, we will introduce you to the artists behind each show - their musical journey and inspiration - we will hear stories about them and learn about the music they will be performing!
We look forward to seeing you at our summer concerts! Be sure to bring your favorite lawn chair - or a blanket - and some friends and “Say Hello!”
This year, we are excited to be expanding our 2023 Summer Series Concerts with an additional free performance hosted at The Barn at French Mountain (5 Mill Rd, Lake George, NY, 12845) on June 16th, 2023 (7-8:30pm).
This performance will feature Dr. Funke’s 100% Natural Good Time Family Band - A Superjam Evening featuring members of Chestnut Grove, Let’s Be Leonard and Wild Adriatic, plus special guests.

This week we are chatting with Mateo Vosganian - mastermind behind Dr. Funke’s 100% Natural Good Time Family Band - A Superjam Event, proud dad and Director of Operations at Caffè Lena in Saratoga, NY.
Born in Aurora, IL and raised in Queensbury, NY, Mateo has been steeped in music since birth. Growing up in a family with generations of musicians led him to pursue a career in music after studying at Emerson College in Boston, and a brief stint in the television industry in Los Angeles. Playing shows and producing events since the age of 12, Mateo spent more than two decades touring the world as a drummer and artist manager. Mateo is a passionate advocate for providing music, connection, and learning for the good of the community and world at large.
