We sat down with Dr Karen Hammad, who is a Fellow of the College of Emergency Nursing Australasia (CENA), senior lecturer and nurse researcher. She has been recently working in Papua New Guinea consulting for the World Health Organization on the spread of COVID-19. She holds a PhD, is a business owner and passionate about disaster preparedness and nursing!
We talked about all things disaster nursing, her experiences in PNG with the WHO, tips and advice, lesson learnt and also tackled audience questions live! + lots more.
