Cosmetic Nursing with Adj Associate Professor Elissa O'Keefe
We were joined by Adj Associate Professor Elissa O'Keefe who is a highly-experienced clinician and educator and talked very indepth about all things cosmetic nursing and also discussed briefly at the start sexual & reproductive health nursing.
Elissa was the first Nurse Practitioner in the ACT where she specialised in Sexual & Reproductive Health. She is also the current Chair of the Australian College of Nursing Cosmetic Nursing Community of Interest. Elissa is the lead author of the first ever Australian standards and scope of practice document for cosmetic nursing, has published in peer reviewed journals both nationally and internationally and is often called on for comment in the industry.
