What a treat this week was! Jenn and Joce chat with Luis about his recently published book: Perú Negro Bailando Muchas Memorias! Luis describes his work on this project starting back as an undergraduate in 2006, to now being a published author in April of 2021. He captured the history of the Afro-Peruvian musical ensemble through archived newspapers and interviews with the very members who brought this group to world fame.
