Missy is a seasoned technology executive with 25+ years’ experience in strategic leadership, setting the overall strategy for enterprise solutions, sales, sustainability, and infrastructure. In her 20 years at Switch, she focused on high revenue generating business outcomes with a concentration in sustainability. She worked to grow the company from a small startup, took it public in 2017, and then took it private via acquisition in 2022 for $11 billion. She is a believer in servant leadership and mentoring team members to foster professional growth. Her expertise in technology trends, forecasting client needs and connecting those trends with results has been a great asset to Switch and its success. As a public speaker Missy continues to take the unique message of Switch to the world, and frequently speaks on the topics of leadership and empowering women.Aside from all the technical stuff, Missy is a Jesus-loving, movie-quoting, cancer-beating, soul sister. As a woman in tech and leadership, she doesn’t believe in sitting on the sidelines of faith, whether you’re at work, at home, or out in your community. She believes that each of us has a unique mission prepared for us by God, and she wants to empower everyone to live out that purpose. She finds great joy in prison ministry and believes that therapeutic rehabilitation is the key to reducing recidivism.
